Wivenhoe wine tasting

The Wivenhoe Wine Tasting group meets monthly in The Lodge to taste many different wine varieties. Early March saw twenty six brave souls test the Jacobs Creek range from Orlando Wines in the Barossa Valley. They tried reds and whites, sparkling's and stills, priced from six dollars to twenty-six dollars and had near unanimous agreement that all wines were emanately drinkable and represented value for money. It was agreed that quality was proportionate to price and one taster was disappointed with a Pinot Grigio sample. We welcomed five new tasters all of whom indicated that they will return to our next meeting.
