Wivenhoe Village raise $3,200 at Australia's Biggest Morning Tea

Wivenhoe Village is proud to have raised $3,200 for the Cancer Council through a variety of functions organised during the month of May. The feature event being Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea taking place in The Lodge late May. This was an wonderful opportunity for many of our residents to come together again and enjoy a cuppa! The sun was shining on the day and yellow seemed to fill the Lodge, from flowers on the tables to everyone getting into the festivities by dressing in the colour of daffodils! It warmed out hearts.

We thank our guest speaker, Kathy Rhodes from the Cancer Council, for her honesty in sharing her story with us - a truly remarkable young lady.

To all of our residents who contributed in many ways, whether it was donating gifts to be auctioned or for raffle or lucky door prizes, or by purchasing raffle tickets on the day - we are truly grateful - Thank you!

And a huge shout out to all those who helped in the organisation of these functions - we couldn’t do it without you! THANK YOU!
