Wivenhoe Residents sneak a peek at the Nancy Bird Walton International Airport
In early March 2 mini-buses and seven cars set off from the village to visit the Western Sydney International Airport Experience Centre near Luddenham. Residents saw the interactive multi-screen presentation at the centre and were given an explanatory presentation from staff about the development.
The mini-buses were driven on a circuit around the airport perimeter whilst on-board guides Rob and Brittany gave a running commentary and answered questions. Our party of 40 residents were keen to learn about this amazing development which will reshape the area. Having visited, Residents were able to envisage and appreciate a great deal of this gargantuan project.
A big thank you to the Experience Centre staff/guides and our very own resident drivers Peter Smith and David Moore.
