Wivenhoe scoops another award for retirement living
Macarthur Advertiser reports: Wivenhoe Village’s running streak has continued with the Kirkham Rise retirement home named state winner in the Urban Development Institute of Australia Excellence in Retirement Living awards.
The new honour comes on the back of the village winning best most outstanding retirement living development in Australia at the Property Council of Australia awards night back in May.
Wivenhoe, which is a village from specialist company Mbark, won the latest award for its innovation, sustainability and industry leadership.
Mbark director James Robinson was thrilled to accept the award last week.
“We are a small family company that strives to develop retirement communities we are proud of,” he said.
“I’d like to acknowledge our really dedicated team and the opportunity that we have had to develop a fantastic site in the south-west of Sydney.
